Gyoza/dumpling free crochet pattern

Gepubliceerd op 1 maart 2023 om 11:00

I originally designed this pattern as a gift for my followers on instagram for my birthday. You can find the pattern there as well. I would love to see your creations from this pattern, so don't forget to tag me if you post it on instagram.

It is a very easy pattern to make but the sewing can be a little bit challenging. I recommend you to use stitchmarkers during the crochet procces but also during sewing. You can hold the folds in place with the stitchmarkers. I used velvet/chenile yarn in a very light brown color with a 4 mm hook and 12 mm safity eyes. This whole pattern is crochetted in the outer loops only (see the picture below for clarification).

This pattern may not be shared in any way. If you do want to share it, share a link to this site instead of sharing the pattern. Do not sell more than 5 of the final products. I put a lot of work into my patterns and I apreciate it if you respect these wishes.

Assembly:

First decide which side you like the best. For me personally, I liked the "wrong side" better than the other side so I flipped it inside out. Make 2 folds in the edges like on the picture below. I used stitch markers to keep the folds in place while sewing. Sew around the edge but stop after the first fold. Place the eyes to your liking and fill your gyoza with fiber fill. Now continue to sew around the  edge to close it up. Make sure you keep filling during sowing.

And you are done! I hope you enjoyed this pattern. If you see any mistakes or if you have questions, please let me know. You can contact me on instagram or trough the contact page.
